The Story Behind HerInsight Consulting
HerInsight Consulting was born from a real-life balancing act. Christine’s journey began as a mom balancing school pickups, weekend sports, and the chaotic but fulfilling blend of raising a family while managing a demanding corporate career. What started as personal reflection turned into deep conversations about purpose, burnout, and how women are often forced to choose between ambition and flexibility.
With over 20 years of executive experience at major banks and a global perspective shaped by living on three continents, Christine wasn’t short on credentials. But she was at a crossroads—pushed to either continue chasing titles or redefine success on her own terms.
Christine also grew up in an entrepreneurial family that has run more than 40 businesses. With both her family and her husband as business partners, she carries the entrepreneurial spirit at heart. This gives her the unique ability to bridge corporate strategy with real-world business ownership—understanding not only how to lead inside large organizations but also how to build, grow, and sustain family-owned businesses.
So she did just that.
She took everything she had learned—about project management, business strategy, leadership, communication, and execution—and created HerInsight Consulting: a consultancy built to serve small businesses with big goals, and to support women consultants seeking freedom without compromise.
Today, HerInsight is more than a business—it’s a mission. A place where real expertise meets real life, and where both clients and consultants can thrive together.
Meet the Founder
Christine Davies
Christine is a change agent at heart, with a rich background in financial services and operations management. With over 20 years of experience in executive roles at three major banks—and life lived on three continents—she brings a unique global perspective to every project she leads.
She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has completed 100 hours of management and leadership training, focused on individual and team coaching for career management and progression. Christine also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt and has served as a Program Manager, responsible for execution and delivery of multi-year projects and programs with budgets up to $125 million.
Beyond her corporate career, Christine grew up in a family that has run more than 40 businesses and carries entrepreneurship at heart. Partnering with her husband in family ventures, she has lived the realities of building and sustaining businesses. This unique blend of corporate leadership and entrepreneurial experience allows her to guide clients with both strategy and heart.
She has a proven track record for streamlining operations, leading complex change, and aligning strategic goals with day-to-day execution.
Her favorite quote is “Begin with the end in mind,” which she applies in both business and life.
When she’s not consulting, Christine can be found volunteering with the Waxhaw Women’s Club or traveling with her family—she’s visited over 50 countries and counting.
